Cuts cane stubbles below the ground level and thus improves germination. It also cuts old cane root system leading to better growth of Ratoon crop & establishment of new root system. It reduces frequency and duration of irrigation. It performs Inter-culture operations. Hence it reduces the total cost of production of Ratoon sugar cane crop.
